Fenty is less ethical than Shein? Celebrity Brand Dupes & Thrifting

Hannah Feldt Episode 13

Rihanna's brand Fenty, Kylie Jenners "Khy",  Skims and the continual rise of thrifting, we are talking about it all! We'll also chat the recent campaigns by luxury brands and the concerning trends adopted by some fashion companies and celebrities. The era of heavily branded designs is becoming less popular, especially among those of us within the generations of Gen Z and Millennials. We have also realized the importance of fabric and how to use our dollar to purchase clothing that is higher quality. Along those lines, we have began to gravitate towards clothing that reflects individual personality rather than constantly buying fast fashion. I've also been more aware of my purchasing power and have been aiming to shop brands and fabrics that align with sustainable purchasing practices. For example, I won't purchase products made of animals unless I find them secondhand, but that being said, it's totally possible to find genuine leather at your local thrift shop! And that's where we will  finish out this episode;  thrifting and my biggest tips on how to thrift the best finds.
